Hardware sourcing and installation

Hardware chosen for the work

One Day Systems is a technology consulting firm serving the Kansas City metro that selects, sources, installs, and supports technology hardware for schools, businesses, government, and industrial sites.

The problem

Gear gets bought in a hurry, quoted into a stall, or left unsupported six months later. The wrong display, a switch that cannot carry the room, laptops that never joined the standard. Good design dies in the purchase.

How we work

Evaluate

What you already own, what is failing the work, and what a quote is pretending to solve.

Design

A standard: the devices that fit the rooms, the desks, and the network — specific enough to reorder.

Integrate

Installed so the hardware belongs to the system. Labeled, recorded, and talking to the rest of it.

Deploy

In service, with support that already knows what is on the wall. Not a pile of boxes and a goodbye.

Typical outcomes

  • Devices that fit the work.
  • A record of what you own, and a standard you can buy again.
  • Support from people who already know the design.

See brands we love for products we like working with. We still pick against the design.

Questions

Do we have to buy the equipment from you?

No. We can procure equipment through One Day Systems, through the partners you already use, or point you to the best place to buy it. The job is the right fit, not a SKU.

Can you install hardware we already own?

Yes. Our team, your team, or a trusted partner can handle implementation. We plan the work so the handoff is clean whichever way you go.

Which brands do you install?

We select against the design. We are not locked to one manufacturer.

Do you serve both Kansas and Missouri?

Yes. One Day Systems serves the Kansas City metro on both sides of the state line.

How fast can you start?

Often within days of scope agreement. Multi-site school work follows your calendar, including summers and breaks when that is what the buildings need.

What happens after deployment?

Documentation, credentials in your name, training for the people who use it, and a clear handoff.

Who owns what you build?

You can use what we build for your organization for as long as you like. We keep ownership of the underlying designs and tools, so we can keep improving them and reuse them on future projects. You can't resell or hand it off to another company without asking us first. It's all spelled out in our agreement before we start. No surprises.

Do we have to replace everything?

Almost never. We document what you have, keep what still fits, and plan updates ahead of failure, so you only replace what you need, when you need it.
